Katya leads a series of classes and workshops across the UK, and has led spaces at Rambert, Matthew Bourne, Pineapple, Elstree Heritage Centre and Central School of Ballet.
In her classes, she takes a holistic approach, drawing upon her diverse movement experience to fine-tune technique, whilst always prioritising the joy of moving. Her workshops encourage participants to respond to carefully selected imagery, aural cues and somatic prompts, leading to a process of discussion and collaborative movement generation. She’s passionate about developing creative agency, nurturing connection and sustaining creative communities.
